schematic design:

focusing on two potential concepts to carry on with the design of eighth street center.  one concept is connection, the other is an idea of enclosure.  both ideas were explored thoroughly with facade elevations, floor plans, back elevations, and sketchup renderings.

the first concept was chosen to continue on.

the existing conditions of the raymond brothers building, the location i chose for eighth street center, an artist’s in residency work/live space and art-focused community center.  located in downtown lincoln, ne.
